Charge Transfer between Single-Wall Carbon Nanotubes and MEHPPV Molecular Chains
Abstract
Charge transfer between single-wall carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) and MEHPPV molecular chains was investigated by using photoluminescence, photoinduced current, and electroluminescence. We characterized the charge injection, separation, and recombination processes in the single-layer light-emitting diode of ITO/MEHPPV+SWNTs/Al under both forward and reverse bias at different temperatures. Based on the curent-voltage characteristics, the interfacial electronic structures of the nano-heterojunctions formed between the SWNTs and MEHPPV molecular chains are discussed.
