FT-STS Studies of Doping Effects on Electronic Structure of Bi2212
Abstract
We use atomically resolved scanning tunneling spectroscopy and Fourier Transform STS (FT-STS) to investigate local density of states (LDOS) modulations in Bi-2212. We report on experiments at various dopings from optimal towards underdoped. We explore how both the nodal and antinodal states evolve into the underdoped region of the superconducting dome. At the lowest doping, near the ``spin-glass'' region, we find a new class of spectra and qualitatively different associated LDOS modulations.
