Equilibrium Properties of Confined BUU Matter
Abstract
Properties of hot nuclei in a box with perfectly reflecting walls are calculated in an idealized model based on the Boltzmann (BUU) transport equation. The equilibrium density profiles of such nuclei are calculated as functions of excitation energy, effective nuclear equation of state and box size.
