4U0115+63 Hard X-ray Images and Spectra from the InFOCuS Experiment
Abstract
The InFOCuS hard X-ray telescope was flown successfully on a high altitude balloon launched from Fort Sumner, NM on Sep. 16, 2004. InFOCuS is a new generation hard x-ray imaging system using multilayer grazing incidence optics and a CdZnTe focal plane. We observed the transient X-ray pulsar 4U0115+63 for 12,900s. The source was detected at the 25 sigma level. Pulsations were detected at a frequency of 3.61604, which is consistent with previous measurements. Spectral measurements in the 20-50 keV energy range will be presented for this known source of cyclotron absorption lines.
