Parametrically Driven Dark Solitons
Abstract
We study parametrically driven kinks and find that, unlike bright solitons, kinks are immune to instabilities regardless of the strength of the damping or driving. Stable bound states can also be formed. In the absence of damping, the kinks and their complexes can travel with nonzero velocities.
