Influencing different ingredients on the tribological characteristics of compositions on the basis of plastic metals in vacuum
Abstract
For new spacecraft capable to operate for long in a near-earth orbit and also in conditions of Mars and Venus planets it is necessary to develop new generation of the wear-resistant materials intended for friction units of space vehicles and planet research vehicles. Space vacuum and atmosphere of Mars and Venus planets are extreme and, as a rule, do not suppose the application of liquid lubricants. In this connection the search of materials, which may show a maximum level of the function properties in these conditions, is an actual problem. In addition such materials may be used in friction units of the gears working in vacuum or the appropriate environments. At creation of the wear-resistant materials intended for the activity in conditions of dry friction in vacuum, first of all it is necessary to consider the factor of the composition which determines dissipative properties of a material and its ability to realization of non-linear mechanism of the adaptation, resulting in to curing structural defects.
