Ferrimagnetic resonance of high Tc organic-based magnet V[TCNE]x films.
Abstract
We report new ferrimagnetic resonance studies of the high-temperature organic-based magnetic semiconductor V[TCNE]_x. Both temperature and angular dependent spectra were taken for samples with T_c> 300 K, Tc ∼ 280 K and Tc ∼ 220 K. We compare the analysis of parameters such as effective magnetization, FWHM, and g-value for the temperature range 10-300 K. The sample with Tc >300 K similar to earlier reported data [1] exhibits a magnetic behavior consistent with conventional long-range order and the sample with Tc ∼ 220 K presents spin-glass behavior at low temperature. The sample having a Tc ∼ 280 K has complex superimposing spectra reflecting magnetic order while its internal magnetic field is similar in behavior to that of the glassy Tc ∼ 220 K sample.
