Macro-Quantum Vacuum Origin of Gravity and Quintessence
Abstract
The Dirac-Fermi negative energy electron micro-quantum vacuum with Fermi energy at the Planck scale Lp is unstable to the formation of off mass shell Cooper pairs of virtual electrons and positrons because of the static Coulomb attraction. This results in a metastable macro-quantum vacuum coherent order parameter Psi = (0|e+e-|0). Using Hagen Kleinert's ``world crystal" model of Einstein's geometrodynamics, curvature is disclination defect density and torsion is dislocation defect density. The LNIF metric tensor guv is the strain tensor of the world crystal. I derive guv from the Goldstone phase modulation of the Mexican Hat effective Landau-Ginzburg Psi potential. I derive the quintessent / field from the Higgs amplitude oscillation. / > 0 is dark energy and / < 0 is dark matter. At scale L using Susskind's world hologram model: guv(LNIF) = nuv(LIF) + Lp^2(L/Lp)^2/3(Du,Dv)argPsi Du = ,u + TaAu^a for gauge Lie group G generated by Ta The EEP tetrad LNIF <--> LIF and Diff(4) LNIF <--> LNIF' are derived from G local gauge transformations at fixed event P.
