Two Nucleon Emission at high Q^2 ^3He(e,e'pp)n Reactions
Abstract
A theory of final state interactions in high-energy electrodisintegration of ^3He is developed. We derive formulae based on the generalized eikonal approximation (GEA) which allows one to account for the internal motion of the target nucleons otherwise neglected in the conventional Glauber approximation. The main emphasis of the theoretical analysis at the current stage is on the special kinematic region where the contribution of rescatterings is enhanced. We also explore the possibilities to investigate the short range nucleon-nucleon correlations in ^3He at high energy semi-exclusive reactions. Special attention is paid to the possibilities of identification of effects related to the three-body interactions at short inter-nucleon distances.
