Measurement of gravitational interaction on mm scale
Abstract
An experiment with a Cavendish balance and D×h = 19×1.6 mm lead disc masses with surfaces separated by 0.2-0.3 mm revealed no noticeable deviation from the Newtonian inverse square law. The experiment rules out at least significant deviations from the inverse square law on a 1-mm scale.
