Phase relaxation dynamics of excitons and biexcitons in CuCl studied by femtosecond and picosecond degenerate four-wave mixing
Abstract
The dephasing time T2 of excitons and biexcitons is measured by femtosecond and picosecond four-wave mixing as function of frequency for different excitation intensities and temperatures. Their behavior is discussed in the frame of different scattering mechanisms. From this, the biexciton acoustic- and optical-phonon scattering cross sections are determined.
