The assembly and testing of the D0 silicon detector
Abstract
The silicon microstrip detector is a major upgrade of the D0 inner tracking system. We present an overview of the design and some of the assembly challenges. We describe the testing and repair procedures and associated yields. We also report results from electrical tests of our double sided detectors and the constraints imposed by micro discharge effect.
