Aerothermodynamic analysis of space-vehicle phenomena
Abstract
Aerothermodynamics is a key technology for the design and optimisation of space vehicles. Computational aerothermodynamics, in particular, has become a powerful tool for improving our understanding of the physical phenomena that are at work. This article presents its current capabilities with respect to flow phenomena. Examples are presented.
