An Augmented Space Recursion Approach to Rough Surfaces
Abstract
We describe a technique which combines the local density functional based tight-binding linearized muffin-tin orbitals method, the recursion method of Haydock, Heine and Kelly and the augmented space method introduced by us. We indicate the usefulness of this method for the study of itinerant magnetism in rough surfaces and interfaces
