A Finding List of Faint UV-bright Stars in the Galactic Plane. V.
Abstract
Four additional plates from the Sandage Two-Color Survey of the Galactic Plane have been examined, yielding identifications of 108 UV-bright stars. The plates examined were obtained using the Palomar 48 inch Oschin Schmidt telescope and cover a field of view of 6.6dx6.6d. The plates were centered at the Galactic longitude (l) and latitude (b) coordinates of (80.4d, +0 deg), (80.4d, -6 deg), (100 deg, +4 deg), and (104.1d, +6 deg). Identified sources range in U-B color from U-B~-0.1 to U-B~-1.0 and in magnitude from mB~10 to ~20. Accurate J2000 coordinates and finding charts are provided for all the UV candidates included, and some of the more interesting sources are discussed. Previously identified objects referenced in the literature are noted.
