Maximum-entropy method and oscillations in the diffraction cone
Abstract
The maximum-entropy method has been applied to investigate the oscillating structure in the bar p p and pp elastic scattering differential cross section at high energy and small momentum transfer. Oscillations satisfying quite realistic reliability criteria have been found.
