Accurate profiles of solar infrared Ca II triplet lines.
Abstract
The NLTE physical conditions reproducing the observed profiles of Ca II infrared triplet lines have been determined from synthetic and empirical analyses of observed emergent intensities of the lines at different angular distances from the center of the solar disk. Nearly coincidence between calculated and observed contours of the lines has been achieved at various positions on the solar disk. The defined physical conditions differ to some extent from those given by Holweger and Müller (1974) model and Vernazza, et al. (1976) model.
