The design of a system for coloured digital radiology with VLSI circuits and GaAs pixel detectors
Abstract
We describe the design of a digital radiology system with GaAs pixel detectors, based on the energy selection of the non absorbed X-ray spectrum. We present a general layout; we show that simulation and experimental data corroborate the idea for the feasibility of the system.
