Conceptual design of a medical application radiation source
Abstract
The main goal of the project is to develop a rather compact but low emittance SR facility with the electron energy of 2-2.4 GeV. Low emittance ( ɛx < 10 nm) together with the insertion devices allow us to perform medical experiments otherwise available only at 6-8 GeV light sources which are much larger and costly than that presented below.
