Search for the scalar a0 and f0 mesons in the reactions e+e--->γπ0π0(η)
Abstract
It is shown that the reactions e+e--->γπ0π0(η) give a good chance for observing the scalar a0 and f0 mesons. In the photon energy region less than 100 MeV the vector meson contributions e+e--->V0-->π0V'0-->γπ0π0(η) are negligible in comparison with the scalar meson e+e--->φ -->γf0(a0)-->γπ0π0(η) for B(φ-->γf0(a0)-->γπ0π0(η)) greater than 5×10-6 (10-5). Using the two-channel treatment of the ππ scattering the predictions for B(φ-->γ(f0+σ)-->γππ) are derived. The four-quark model, the model of the KK¯ molecule, and the ss¯ model of scalar f0 and a0 mesons are discussed.
