Phenomenological parametrization of the charged particle multiplicity distributions in restricted rapidity intervals in e^{+}e^{} annihilation into hadrons and e^{+}p scattering at HERA
Abstract
It is shown that charged particle multiplicity distributions in restricted (pseudo) rapidity intervals ine^{+}e^{} annihilation and in e^{+}p scattering at HERA are quite well described by the modified negative binomial distribution and its simple extension.
