Interference effects in positron-H 2+ collisions with formation of positronium atoms
Abstract
Electron capture from H 2+ by fast positron impact is studied theoretically by using a model of two molecular scattering centers. Differential cross sections are obtained within the first Born approximation. The influence of the orientation angle of the molecular axis on the reaction is analyzed. Comparison with proton impact is made.
