The Nançay Radioheliograph
Abstract
The Nançay Radioheliograph has been upgraded in order to provide high time resolution 2D images of the soler corona. This is due to its new digital correlator (Stokes I and V, 576 channels). Calibration has also been improved. The multifrequency operation remains almost unchanged. It allows simultaneous observations of up to 10 frequencies in the range 150-450 MHz. Integrated data will be available on the internet, and special observing modes may be decided on request.
