Restoration of the large scale image of Cas A in decameter wave band.
Abstract
A new multicircle method of radio image restoration of compact radio sources based on measurements by radiointerferometric method visibility function is proposed. The algorithm of determining the number of circles, their angular diameter and flux density, based on Fourier-Bessel series, is shown. The radio image of Cas A was restored from data obtained from the measurements of visibility function of this source. By comparing the data that were obtained with known high frequency results, the presence of a large-scale object has been discovered. At the same time, the central part of the large-scale model structure, obtained on decameter wavelengths, is inconsistent with the results, deduced from the measurements on the meter waveband.
