Nuclear Properties for Astrophysical Applications
Abstract
We tabulate the groundstate oddproton and oddneutron spins and parities, proton and neutron pairing gaps, binding energy, one and twoneutron separation energies, quantities related to betadelayed one and twoneutron emission probabilities, betadecay energy release and halflife with respect to GamowTeller decay, one and twoproton separation energies, and alphadecay energy release and halflife for 8979 nuclei ranging from oxygen16 to Z = 136, A = 339 and extending from the proton drip line to the neutron drip line. Singleparticle level diagrams and other quantities are also presented in graphical form. The starting point of our present work is a study of nuclear groundstate masses and deformations based on the finiterange droplet model and foldedYukawa singleparticle potential published in a previous issue of Atomic Data and Nuclear Data Tables. The betadelayed neutronemission probabilities and GamowTeller betadecay rates are obtained from a quasiparticle randomphase approximation with singleparticle levels and wave functions at the calculated nuclear groundstate shapes as input quantities.
