Two-dimensional multipoles from arbitrary current densities in polygonal domains
Abstract
A complex analytic multipole decomposition of the magnetic field produced by an arbitrary, continuous current density in a two-dimensional polygonal domain is obtained by series expanding the Green's function of complex magnetic field. The multipole coefficients are given explicitly as functions of the vertex coordinates of the polygon.
