The liquid bridge with marangoni effect
Abstract
This article contributes to the study of liquid bridge considering Marangoni effect on the internal flow and the free surface form in the micro gravity environment. The improved Level Set Method is used which avoids the intrinsic singularities of the original Level Function in [1]. All the simplified geometrical assumptions on the free surface as in [4] are released. The wavy surface is gotten and only tiny secondary vortex is found with the same flow parameters as [4].
