Density perturbations in hyper-extended inflation
Abstract
Quantum dynamics of the Brans-Dicke field has been studied in hyperextended inflationary models. A general expression for the density perturbations arising out of such quantum fluctuations has been derived and used to evaluate the density perturbations for the special case of constant ω (extended inflation) and shown to be consistent with the standard analysis. A simple model of hyperextended inflation is also considered.
