Self Energy from Photoemission for High Tc Cuprates
Abstract
We analyze recent angle-resolved photoemission data of Bi-2212 to obtain the self-energy of the electrons as a function of momentum, frequency, and temperature, both in the normal and superconducting states. Implications of these results for microscopic theories of the high Tc cuprates will be discussed. Supported by NSF-DMR 91-20000 and DOE-BES, Contract W-31-109-ENG-38.
