What is the structure of the quark-gluon plasma near the critical temperature?

I review recent lattice QCD results on the order of the phase transition, meson correlators, and thermodynamic functions for temperatures of the order of the critical temperature T_c. The conclusion is that non-perturbative phenomena dominate the behaviour of the quark-gluon plasma up to temperatures of about 2 T_c.
