Optical identifications of eight new quasars from ROSAT and radio 5G sources.
Abstract
Through the optical cross identifications made with the 2.16 m telescope, eight ROSAT X-ray and radio 5G sources, 1RXP J115233+4939.7 (87GB 114957.1+495637), 1RXP J123649+2508.0 (87GB 123423.4+252457), 1RXP J140626+2509.3 (87GB 140407.1+252330), 1RXP J141628+1242.6 (87GB 141403.8+125611), 1RXP J162553+4347.0 (87GB 162418.8+435342), RX J162634+5809.3 (87GB 162540.9+581600), RX J165005+4140.5 (87GB 164829.1+414553), RX J165559+5430.0 (87GB 165455.2+543450), were found to be quasars with redshifts ranging from 0.333 to 1.091. The multiwavelength properties of these quasars are briefly reviewed.
