Nonlinear theory of O-type microwave oscillators with nonuniform dc magnetic field (2-D model)
Abstract
Influence of focusing magnetic field inhomogeneity on the output characteristics of the O-type resonance oscillator is analyzed theoretically in the frame of the two-dimensional model of electron-wave interaction taking into account deposition of electrons on a slow-wave system. There are found the regions of magnetic field inhomogeneity parameters values where energy-exchange efficiency is higher than in a device with homogeneous focusing magnetic field.
