Measurement of temperature using speckle shearing interferometry
Abstract
Laser speckle shearing interferometry is used to measure temperature of a gaseous flame's entire thermal field. The temperature profile over the field can be visualized by observation of the double exposed speckle interferogram. A 10 mW He-Ne laser was used in the experiment.
