A mini satellite called Arsene: The way to make it at a minimum cost
Abstract
The context of the radioamateur ARSENE project is recalled. The ARSENE idea, concept, specifications, mechanical and electrical architecture, placement in final orbit and station keeping as well as financing are discussed. The ways used to achieve ARSENE at minimal cost are explained: solutions for mechanics, integration methods, project management by industry, precision, quality, costs and the acquired expertise as regards industry and project management are dealt with.
