Finite element analysis of rotating axisymmetric flow
Abstract
In this report, a finite element formulation using an augmented Lagrangian method for solving the incompressible axisymmetric Navier-Stoke equations is shown. As a numerical example, the flow around a flat disk rotating in a fluid at rest is illustrated. The results are in good agreement with the analytical solution.
