Time delay measurement correlator and its application
Abstract
This paper introduces the design principle of a time delay measurement correlator and its implementation methods by digital circuit and single chip microprocessor. With correlator designed, the highest sample frequency is 11.7 KHz, the least delay resolution is 85 microseconds. A time delay measurement system for flow velocity of a gas/solid two phase flow is one of its applications. Experiments have proven that this system can meet the demands of real-time velocity measurements.
