Boundary layer analysis
Abstract
A text on viscous fluid flow at high Re aimed at advanced undergraduate and beginning graduate engineering students is presented. Emphasis is given to turbulent shear flow and turbulence models and to the accurate analysis of practical flow problems which requires the use of computerized methods. Computer codes for a PC suitable for solving homework problems, including the use or turbulence models, are provided. Older analytical methods are also covered. A concurrent treatment of the transfer of momentum, heat, and mass is given.
