A method for solving boundary problems in deformation mechanics of plates and shells for differential equations with only even derivatives
Abstract
A method is proposed for solving boundary problems in the deformation mechanics of thin-walled structures, such as plates and shells, in which the solutions of the respective differential equations do not contain rapidly growing or rapidly diminishing functions. The method makes it possible to solve these problems with an a priori assigned accuracy, by retaining the necessary number of terms in the formulas.
