Qualitative investigations of plane oscillations of a magnetized satellite in a polar orbit.
Abstract
An equation is presented which describes the plane rotation of a satellite, a rigid body, with respect to the center of mass moving along a circular polar orbit. Solutions to this equation are presented with allowance for the gravitational and magnetic moments acting on the satellite. Some properties of the solutions are discussed.
