The 3ν 2 + ν 3, ν 1 + ν 2 + ν 3, ν 1 + 3ν 2, 2ν 1 + ν 2, and ν 2 + 2ν 3 Bands of D 216O: The Second Hexade of Interacting States
Abstract
The spectrum of D 216O has been recorded at room temperature between 6000 and 7000 cm -1 with a commercial high-resolution Fourier transform spectrometer and a multipass cell. The spectrum was recorded at pressures of 5.8 and 0.21 mbar, with an absorption path length of 240 m. An analysis of the data has led to the assignment of the bands 3ν 2 + ν 3, ν 1 + ν 2 + ν 3, ν 1 + 3ν 2, 2ν 1 + ν 2, and ν 2 + 2ν 3. This in turn has allowed the determination of a large experimental set of rotational levels belonging to the second hexade of interacting states of D 216O. Vibrational energies and rotational and coupling constants involving the states (031), (111), (130), (210), and (012) have been determined.
