Mössbauer spectroscopy of hydrogenated Fe 91Zr 9 amorphous alloys
Abstract
The influence of hydrogen on the Mössbauer spectra of the Fe 91Zr 9 amorphous alloy at 4.2 K is reported. The hydrogen concentration dependence of the hyperfine magnetic field and the isomer shift is discussed. Both parameters exhibit relevant changes. The maximum uptake of hydrogen is about 2 x where x is the Zr concentration. The volume contribution is estimated and discussed.
