Analogy of thermal and erosion damage processes

Based on an analysis and generalization of experimental data, an analogy is established between the processes of erosion and thermochemical damage. Expressions are obtained which relate the loss of mass to the parameters of the heterogeneous medium. The analogy of thermochemical and erosion damage also holds for the accompanying processes, such as gas-mechanical damage.
