Experimental investigation of acoustooptic filters for the compression of signals with linear frequency modulation, formed in combined computing synthesizers
Abstract
The paper presents an experimental study of a setup including (1) a combined computing synthesizer of linear-FM signals based on a controlled oscillator surrounded by a phased-locked loop and (2) an acoustooptic compression filter in which signal weighting is achieved by using the physical properties of the laser radiation. An expression is obtained for the envelope of the optical field in the case of the self-focusing of the diffracted fields.
