Spectroscopic diagnostics of HTSC parameter variations induced by CO2 lasers
Abstract
The effect of carbon dioxide laser radiation on yttrium barium copper oxide superconducting ceramics is examined. Results of reflection spectra measurements in the region of electron transitions and lattice vibration measurements show that the irradiation tends to make the high temperature superconducting ceramic parameters vary in the direction of semiconductor properties.
