Solar-stellar chromospheres and coronae
Abstract
Empirical solar eclipse investigations have delineated chromospheric-coronal structure as fixed by interaction between mass and dissipative nonradiative energy fluxes. Current O-star data appear to agree with historical solar data in delineating the interaction of these two fluxes as the origin of a universally structured chromosphere-corona.
