Some consideration regarding grain cast technology of 'VEGA-1' solid rocket motor
Abstract
The distribution of oxidizer particle diameter, mixing technology and casting are discussed in this paper. By means of a geometry method, relationship among different diameters can be obtained and play an important role in the selection of particle diameter. As a result, grain density is increased and flow performance is improved.
