GaAs/AlGaAs multiple quantum well 7-micron infrared detector
Abstract
The detection of blackbody radiation by a GaAs (51-A)/Al(0.36)Ga(0.64)As(200-A) multiple-quantum-well IR detector is reported. The detector has a peak wavelength of 7 microns with D* = 1.09 x 10 exp 9 cm sq rt Hz/W and R(v) = 2.5 x 10 exp 4 V/W.
