Quasibistatic random arrays
Abstract
A quasi-bistatic random array is characterized by having a number of receive-only elements and the remaining number of transmit-only elements. Such an architecture allows the achievement of a lower peak sidelobe level than in a conventional (monostatic) random array. The sidelobe level is evaluated in statistical terms and compared with that of the monostatic array.
