The disturbance of a uniform heat flow by a line crack in an infinite anisotropic thermoelastic solid
Abstract
Integral transform techniques are used to determine the stress intensity factors of a line crack which disturbs a uniform heat flow in an anisotropic thermoelastic solid which is under uniaxial tension. Solutions are given for the case in which the tension is large enough to ensure that the crack opens fully and also in the case for which partial closure occurs.
