Flight and fracture of the Tunguska cosmic body into the earth's atmosphere
Abstract
An attempt is made to model the stress-strain state and fracture of a meteoroid durings its flight in the atmosphere. The application of the proposed model to the Tunguska event is described in detail. Numerical results for the meteoroid fracture in flight are presented.
